Como funciona a licitação máxima?
A licitação máxima obtém o melhor preço para si. A Autorola.pt controla automaticamente as suas licitações e garante-lhe que, enquanto autor da melhor licitação, obtém o veículo a um preço igual à segunda melhor licitação acima do preço de reserva, acrescido de 50 EUR. Isto pode parecer um pouco confuso, mas pode ser facilmente ilustrado através de um exemplo.

  1. Um veículo está registado com um preço de reserva de 10.000 EUR. Este preço de reserva não é visível no seu ecrã.
  2. Um revendedor A oferece 9.000 EUR pelo veículo. Neste caso, a licitação máxima do revendedor é de 9.000 EUR e a melhor licitação apresentada no ecrã é de 9.000 EUR. O revendedor não ficará com o veículo dado que o preço de reserva não foi atingido.
  3. Agora chega você como revendedor B e apresenta uma licitação de 11.000 EUR pelo veículo. A sua licitação máxima é de 11.000 EUR mas, por enquanto, está registado como o autor da melhor licitação com uma licitação de 10.000 EUR. A Autorola.pt garante assim que a sua licitação não é desnecessariamente superior ao preço de reserva de 10.000 EUR. Se nenhuma outra licitação for apresentada, o veículo é-lhe adjudicado por 10.000 EUR.
  4. Mas agora, um outro revendedor C oferece 10.500 EUR pelo veículo, que actualmente indica uma melhor licitação de 10.000 EUR. A licitação máxima deste revendedor C é de 10.500 EUR, mas a Autorola.pt apresenta imediatamente uma nova licitação de mais 50 EUR em seu nome, atribuindo-lhe na mesma a melhor licitação só que agora de 10.550 EUR.


Se não forem apresentadas outras licitações, você conseguirá o veículo por 10.550 EUR e terá poupado 450 EUR relativamente à sua licitação máxima. Obviamente, nunca serão apresentadas licitações em seu nome que ultrapassem a sua licitação máxima.
